Just shy of my Blast Theory residency [summer 2019], I made LUNAR LANDER to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the "great leap for mankind" on the moon. At the time of the landing in July of 1969, there was a limited understanding that human modalities of perception can be easily played upon in space.
So I made a VIDEO of the track >> www.youtube.com/watch?v=F3IHhGYdsG4 << the idea of letting the sound wash over your senses, as you relax and stare into the middle distance.
Like an ear worm, the soundscape stuck in my head during my stay in the UK. It complemented the surreal ambience of Brexit, and is the thread that binds the bricolage together.
HEADPHONES recommended (for a 360 immersive sonic trip).
